Notice regarding new JPY prices of NFR products in September, 2024

 

 

To all NFR (individual imports) members,

Thank you for using Thanks AI products and please accept our deepest gratitude for your great contributions to Thanks AI activities.

Due to the sharp depreciation of the Japanese Yen, we have decided to change the JPY prices of NFR products on a monthly basis from June 1st, 2022 onwards.
Please be informed that in September, NFR prices will be adjusted based on August’s average exchange rate.

System change time: between 15:00 JST and 18:00 JST on September 2nd, 2024

We would like NFR members to refrain from registering and ordering between 15:00 JST and 18:00 JST on September 2nd, 2024 due to this system change. New NFR prices will be officially announced after the system change time.

In case the exchange rate remains similar to that of the previous month, the price change may not be carried out.

We sincerely apologize for the change in our policy and we would like to express our highest appreciation for your understanding and cooperation.

Major improvement of the Thanks AI App

We are excited to announce a new update to the Thanks AI App for both iOS and Android operating systems!  Now it’s easier to register online, purchase products and check all the information you need.

Please be informed that the app improvement will be performed according to the following schedule:

  • Implementation date: August 21st, 2024
  • Hours: From 15:00 (Japan time)
  • Target services: Thanks AI App for both iOS and Android operating systems

The implementation is estimated to take approximately 1 hour to complete. Upon successful implementation of the new update, we will post an announcement to NFR members.

During the update process, you may experience some temporary difficulties connecting to the target services. In that case, please wait for a while and then try accessing them again.

The following items have been enhanced for the app:

1. Increasing the text size in the “Registration Information” menu
The text size of the “Change Registration Information” part in the “Registration Information” menu has been enlarged.

 

 

 

 

2. Changing the menu “Purchased Products”, which was greyed out and could not be used by members, to the “Order Product” menu
The same function as ” Order Product ” in the the submenu “≡” on the top left of the app screen is also available in the menu at the bottom of the app screen.

8. Adding a registration page to the Back Office’s Binary map
After clicking “L/R” on the binary map as shown in the image below, a registration page with a text link (1), new introduction URL (2), and QR code (3) will appear. You can use these three ways to register as a new member.

Application Conditions of Money Track and UnionPay Prepaid Card

 

 

Dear valued members,

We would like to make Payoneer’s current list of sanctioned countries for card application known to you. According to the list, members from the following 13 countries cannot apply for Money Track debit card:
Australia, Canada, Cuba, India, Iran, South Korea, Myanmar, Palestinian Territories, Russia, Singapore, Sudan, Syria, United Kingdom.

Regarding UnionPay Prepaid Card, its payment service is not provided to the countries sanctioned by the UN and the list of these countries remains unchanged since their last announcement.

Therefore, among the 9 countries aforementioned:
– Members from Canada, South Korea, please apply for UnionPay Prepaid Card.
– Members from Cuba, Iran, and Iraq cannot apply for UnionPay Prepaid Card.
– Members from Myanmar, India, Sudan, and Syria can apply for UnionPay Prepaid Card but may have some difficulties being accepted depending on financial background.

In addition, we would like to announce the following change to UnionPay Prepaid Card Application Conditions:

Conditions for applying for a UnionPay Prepaid Card have changed from November 2023. Accordingly, all members who want to apply for an UnionPay Prepaid Card are required to complete their application in person and collect the cards themselves in Hong Kong. New applicants are asked to provide proof of entry to Hong Kong, such as a boarding pass, train ticket, or equivalent documentation, as part of the application process.
