Recently, we have been informed of some cases that Vietnamese members could not receive their products due to very high customs duties in Vietnam.
Member’s support is always a major driver for our development, so we have been trying to keep our price affordable to members in the most possible way.
Unfortunately, although we made every possible effort to handle this issue, the laws and regulations are unique in each country and there is not much we can do about the customs fee in Vietnam.

Therefore, in order to ensure our members’ benefits, we regret to announce that from December 3rd (Friday) onwards, Thanks AI will stop accepting registrations from Vietnam as NFR members.

Even though products cannot be received in Vietnam, Vietnamese people can still register as a member of other countries if the requirement for registration is met.

The countries which have official offices are as follows:

Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Cambodia, Malaysia, Thailand.

And kindly note that there is a slight difference in rules and guidelines between countries which already have a Thanks AI office.

It is also possible to register and receive products in one of other NFR countries.

Thanks AI is taking the utmost care to find a solution to this situation soon.

We would like to make Payoneer’s current list of sanctioned countries for card application known to you. According to the list, members from the following 11 countries cannot apply for Money Track debit card:

• Canada
• China
• Cuba
• India
• Iran
• Iraq
• South and North Korea
• Myanmar
• Sudan
• Syria
• Russia

Regarding UnionPay Prepaid Card, its payment service is not provided to the countries sanctioned by the UN and the list of these countries remains unchanged since their last announcement.

Therefore, among the 11 countries aforementioned:

– Members from Canada, China, and South Korea, please apply for UnionPay Prepaid Card.
– Members from Cuba, Iran, and Iraq cannot apply for UnionPay Prepaid Card.
– Members from Myanmar, India, Sudan, and Syria can apply for UnionPay Prepaid Card but may have some difficulties being accepted depending on financial background.
